After the recent announcement regarding TVXQ‘s
Changmin making his Japanese film debut with the upcoming movie, ‘Run with the
Gold‘, fans recently swarmed the movie set, temporarily halting filming
activities for the day.
As earlier reported, ‘Run with the Gold’ is inspired
by Takamura Kaoru’s debut novel about a group of men from the streets of Osaka
that race to steal bars of gold. In addition to Changmin’s lead role, this film
is gaining widespread attention for starring Tsumabuki Satoshi, Asano Tadanobu,
and Nishida Toshiyuki.
On February 2nd, Tsumabuki Satoshi posted a message
on Twitter from the movie set, updating everyone on the current status of the
production.
"In the middle of filming. The schedule is quite
difficult, the budget is tight, and the staff members and actors must run on
very little sleep in order to film this movie. We’re all sacrificing a lot for
the production of this film, so please give us support so that we can complete
this film."
Later on, the popular actor continued,
"The filming was delayed 2-3 hours due to my mediocre
acting."
However, on-site fans who were present at that day’s
filming revealed that the delay was also caused by the influx of TVXQ fans that
attended the filming.
Apparently, a Cassiopeia who was present at the film
set that day shared on her Twitter that Changmin was working that day, causing
a wild influx of fans to make their way to the film set. The crowd of Changmin
fans that arrived and pushed into the small store where the event was taking
place forced staff to put that day’s filming schedule on hold.
After the chaotic event took place, the Changmin
fans apologized for disturbing the set on Twitter and other social networking
sites. “Tsumabuki, staff members and director, I’m so sorry that we fans caused
a problem,” one said, while another wrote, “Tsumabuki, I was one of the fans
who attended the filming today. Please excuse what occurred.”
