TVXQ ~ Japanese Record-Setting Platinum Album “TONE” Goes On Sale In Korea And Taiwan

Male group TVXQ’s new album “TONE”, which has gone platinum in Japan, will go on sale in Korea.

As soon as “TONE” went on sale on September 28 in Japan, it immediately rose to the #1 position on the Oricon Daily Album Charts on that same day. And without a doubt, they also reached the pinnacle on the Weekly Album Charts.

Further, within just 3 days of going on sale, the Recording Industry Association of Japan also designated “TONE” as a “Platinum Album” for having sold more than 250,000 copies. TVXQ has once again showed off their status as Asia’s most popular group.

This Korean version of “TONE” will go on sale on October 14. There will be 2 versions going on sale, the CD version and the CD+DVD version, and they will have 13 songs, including 9 new songs such as “B.U.T(BE-AU-TY)”, “Duet”, “Back To Tomorrow” etc, and also hit singles such as “Why?(Keep Your Head Down)”, “Maximum” and “Superstar”.

TVXQ, who are standing tall in Asia, will take part in “SM Town Live World Tour in New York”, which will be held on October 23 in New York Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden.

The anticipation of the whole of Asia, TVXQ is releasing its brand new original album “TONE 神起原色” (literally translates into “TONE Original Color Of Shin Ki”) after 3 years. This is a new album which successfully shows off a huge evolution and improvement. The significance of the album title encompasses meanings such as their dynamics and the tones of their voices. The designs of the album also come in 3 colors – red, blue and yellow,signifying that the TVXQ who are always striving towards perfection are able to master and carry off all sorts of performances, colors and music, and then create the most mesmerizing interpretations of those performances.
