TVXQ! confirms their first visit to Singapore!

After weeks of speculation on their visit to Singapore, TVXQ!, one of Korea’s most successful boy group, is confirmed to make their first visit to Singapore this December 4 2011.
Organised by Korea-based company S2 Entertainment, <TVXQ! Asia Fan Party> is to be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 4 December 2011 (SUN). It will be the first Korean pop fan party to be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The first stop of its Asia tour – Beijing, has kick started earlier this month to an overwhelming turnout of 8000 fans and was widely reported in local mass medias such as newspapers, magazines, broadcasting stations.
TVXQ!, an acronym for Tong Fang Shen Qi (东方神起), is a South Korean pop group formed in 2003 under SM Entertainment and has often been labelled as “Kings of the Hallyu Wave” or “The Rising Gods of the East” for its immense success and notably, their part in creating the first wave of Korean pop phenomenal success in Asia.
Since their debut, TVXQ! has released 5 Korean albums, 5 Japanese albums, over 20 Korean singles and over 30 Japanese singles with sales of over 9.1 million copies throughout their career in Korea and Japan alone, excluding sales from other Asian and international countries. It is of no surprise that their official fan club earned a Guinness World Record in 2008 for its size, and is said to be one of the largest fan clubs in the world. In addition, TVXQ!’s latest new album – ‘TONE’ has sold 105,484 copies and ranked the 1st on the Oricon daily album chart thus maintaining their status as the most popular star of Asia.
In the fan party in Singapore, TVXQ! will be performing their hits plus latest singles, and take on questions from their fans who would be meeting them up close and personal for the first time. This 2 hour event promises to be an unforgettable and memorable experience for many fans here.
